Hi, I’m Sara Enoch - the founder and maker behind Deschutes Oasis Skincare. Next to me is my husband and main supporter Chase Enoch. I’m a wife, a mom of three boys, a home educator, and a Central Oregon resident who believes skincare should be simple, nourishing, and made with ingredients you can recognize.

My personal journey with tallow began in December 2024. At the time, I was managing a coffee shop and the constant handwashing and sanitizer use had left my fingertips and hands painfully dry and cracked. After learning about tallow skincare at a local Christmas bazaar, I decided to try it—even though putting beef fat on my skin sounded a little strange at first. I couldn't believe the fast results I received!

The difference it made inspired me to learn everything I could. I began researching ingredients, rendering tallow, experimenting with formulas, and creating products for my own family. What started as a personal solution soon became Deschutes Oasis Skincare.

Today, I handcraft each product in small batches here in Bend, Oregon. From whipped tallow balms and lip balms to cold-process soaps and cleansing balms, every product is created with thoughtful, recognizable ingredients and plenty of care.

This business also carries a deeper purpose for me. It allows me to help support my family, spend more time at home with my boys, and continue homeschooling my youngest. My Christian faith shapes the way I approach my work—with gratitude, honesty, and a desire to serve others well.
